About Grant

Grant received his under-graduate degree in 1970 from the University of Western Ontario. He attended graduate school at the University of New Brunswick in 1971 and entered Dalhousie Law School, now known as the Schulich School of Law, in 1971, graduating in 1974. He articled with the London law firm of Robarts, Betts, McLennan and Flinn in 1975, attended the Bar Course in Toronto in 1976, and was called to the Bar in 1976.

In 1976, Grant joined the firm of McLennan, Flinn and Driesman (formerly Robarts, Betts, McLennan and Flinn), which in time merged with and became known as McLennan, Wright. In 1986, he joined the firm of Shepherd, McKenzie and continued with that firm until 1991. In 1991, he became a partner of Plaxton, Little which, in turn, became Little, Parker & Inglis and later, Little, Inglis, Price & Ewer. Grant Inglis and Kim Little joined Scott Petrie LLP in November, 2019.

Grant has been involved as general counsel for many organizations, including both for profit and not for profit corporations. He has acted as advisor for various Conservation Authorities and is recognized in the areas of corporate/commercial and in business law, which form a substantial basis of his practice. His experience has touched all aspects of law and as such, he is capable of giving a broad range of advice to his clients. He has been retained as independent counsel to provide advice and services to various firms in attempting to resolve corporate and shareholder disputes and issues. Grant obtained a mediation certificate from the University of Windsor.

Grant is a member of the Middlesex Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association. He is the founding Director, Past President, and current Treasurer of Cheshire Homes of London Inc. He is also a past Director of Distress Centre Inc., Youth Opportunities Unlimited, and Audio Tactile Networking (“ATN”), and a Past President of the Parent Council at both John Paul II Secondary School and Mother Theresa High School.
