Julia joined Scott Petrie LLP as an associate in the firm’s corporate-commercial group in August 2025. She advises businesses and organizations of all sizes and offers strategic guidance on a wide array of corporate matters, including incorporation, governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business contracts. Julia is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal issues, ensuring compliance, and supporting clients’ long-term objectives.

Julia received her Honours B.A. from the University of Windsor before graduating cum laude from the Dual J.D. program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2024. She was a Student Mentor, School Ambassador, and a member of the Sports Law Society, where she competed in professional sports contract negotiation competitions across the USA.

Julia is an avid traveler and animal advocate and has spent time overseas in Peru volunteering at dog shelters, as well as studying and promoting animal rights. As a Windsor native she is a huge Detroit sports fan and spends her evenings and weekends cheering on the Tigers, Lions, and Wolverines (Go Blue!). She is also the proud mom of a beautiful black lab named Laney.
