Kim Little received his undergraduate degree in 1956 from the University of Western Ontario. He attended Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in 1960. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1972. Kim is a member of the Middlesex Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
In 1960, Kim joined the firm of Shepherd McKenzie where he continued as the firm grew until 1991 when the predecessor to Little, Inglis, Price & Ewer LLP was founded. Kim Little and Grant Inglis joined Scott Petrie LLP in November, 2019.
Kim has concentrated his practice on the law of real property with a secondary interest in wills and estates. His specific areas of practice have included residential purchases, sales, and mortgages; land development, purchases, and sales; registration of subdivisions; and registration of condominiums. He taught the real property section of the Bar Admission Course, and has been a presenter on real estate matters to the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association. Kim was a Law Society representative on the Joint Committee on Electronic Registration in Ontario, and a member of the OBA’s Working Group on Lawyers and Real Estate. In 2012, Kim was awarded the OBA’s Award for Excellence in Real Estate.
Outside of the practice of law, Kim enjoys downhill skiing, golf, hunting, and other outdoor activities. He is a Past President of the London Squash Racquets Club, and of the Naval Officers Association of Canada. Kim is a Past Chairman of Lakefield College School and the Lakefield College School Foundation, and Past Churchwarden at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church.
